Wow!  I have been slacking and not posted any updates in a while!!!  Things are moving right along.  The crew put in the windows and back door this week, the electricians have run most of the wire and put in boxes for outlets and all lighting has been roughed in.  Last week the plumber came & did some initial work as well. 

Today, the guys punched a new opening through my living room that will lead to our Master Bed/ Bath.  This should be the last new opening we are adding, but probably not the last we've seen of the drywall dust!  Hoping fireplace arrives in the next few days so that we can finalize details on
FR built-in wall.

October 1st

We have been so busy the last couple of weeks, I havent had a chance to update everyone on the construction! We have shingles over the new portion of the house, a big dumpster in the driveway and a large steel I beam waiting to be installed where the corner of our house will be torn out. Also trying to dry out the new basement as the rain we had in September snuck in before we had a chance to get a tightly sealed roof! More to follow soon...
